The majestic hotel, Hard Rock Hotel Panama Megapolis, of the Hard Rock chain dedicated to music lovers, is situated in Panama City. The chain's philosophy is centred on the assumption that rock’n’roll makes people feel as ease and, in fact, there are various memorabilia spread around various areas of this hotel, which are linked to the history of music and its myths.
Type of work
For the columns and two side walls, to the large windows of the Bazaar buffet restaurant, which overlook Panama City's skyscrapers, we have chosen to plaster the mosaic with Starlike Pietra d'Assisi finish combined with Gold.
The walls on two sides of the hall, are covered with multi-coloured mosaic tiles and are a background to an area dedicated to the two chefs who prepare requested dishes.
The outdoor heated pool with a lounge on the fifth floor of the Hard Rock Hotel Panama Megapolis, has been made with Starlike Artic Blue sealant, a perfect shade to enhance the colours of the mosaic that vary in tones of blue.
Materials used for laying
Relationship with the laying company was held directly with Distribudora Ferramenta in Panama. The materials used to plaster the two areas of the hotel are: Starlike Pietra d’Assisi and Gold for the Bazaar restaurant and Starlike Artic Blue for the swimming pool on the first floor.
